Whaleback Nordic president Doug Fowlow has a great deal to smile this season. With club membership already hitting 350 and increasing daily, the club has well surpassed it's objective of reaching 300 members. In addition to increasing the club membership ranks, local physical education teacher Mark Burt and his wife Mary have worked to get the Jackrabbit program back up and running. Whaleback now has over 55 junior skiers enrolled in this minor ski program.
