H1N1 immunization schedule for students in Grades 7 to 9 Breaking News print this article

Western Health has announced the H1N1 immunization schedule for students in Grades 7 to 9 in the Western region. These groups of school children will be vaccinated at the following locations:

Piccadilly

Lourdes Elementary, November 19, 2009 am
Piccadilly High, November 19, 2009 am
Our Lady of the Cape, November 20, 2009 am

Stephenville

Stephenville Middle, November 19,2009 am
Stephenville High, November 19. 2009 pm
St. Thomas Aquinas, November 20, 2009 am

Stephenville Crossing/St. Georges

Our Lady of Mercy, November 19, 2009 am
Appalachia High, November 19, 2009 am
St. Michael’s, November 19, 2009 pm
EA Butler, November 20, 2009 am

Francophone School Board/Cape St. George and Mainland

Ecole Stainte Anne, November 20 2009 am
Ecole Notre-Dame Du Cape, November 20, 2009 am

Parents are reminded to return their children’s consent forms in advance of this week’s clinics. Students are asked to dress in short sleeves or easy roll ups.

Please be advised that the schedule for all remaining school children will be announced in the near future. Any parents who have questions are encouraged to call 1-877-632-H1N1 (4161).

All residents will have access to the H1N1 vaccine. Western Health will update the schedule as more information is available. The Provincial Government, working with the Regional Health Authorities, will monitor the mass immunization program as it rolls out and changes may be made to the existing plan.
