No nurse practioner service on Port au Port Peninsula after March 5

Western Health is advising nurse practitioner services will not be offered on the Port au Port Peninsula after March 5, until further notice.

Nurse practitioner appointments are currently available at the Lourdes Clinic only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for DeGrau patients and Tuesday and Thursdays for Lourdes patients.

Patients from DeGrau are asked to continue to call the DeGrau clinic to book their appointments.

Physician appointments will continue at the DeGrau clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The health body did not provide a reason for the change in service when making the annoucement this morning.
