Eyes on the prize

There was some exciting soccer action recently at the Mayfield pitch when the U-12 Western Lightning soccer team hosted the Corner Brook U-12 All-Stars. The Western Lightning team came up short 3-1 in the first game, but has a much better effort in the second game - losing 1-0 - but contrlling much of the play. Pictured is John St. Croix of the Western Lightning (left) as he attempts to stop Luke House of Corner Brook.
