Premier Danny Williams announced on Tuesday the appointment of Bruce Hollett as interim president of the College of the North Atlantic, effective immediately. Mr. Hollett will serve in that capacity until a permanent president is appointed.

"Having served before as acting president of the college, as well as deputy minister of education, Mr. Hollett brings a wealth of knowledge to the position," said Premier Williams, in a release. "His diverse experience in other deputy minister positions enhances the strengths he brings to the position. I thank him for taking on this challenge and wish him well."

Mr. Hollett has held several deputy minister appointments, most recently within Executive Council.
