Get ready to laugh. Stephenville Arts and Culture Centre is presenting an evening of improvisational comedy on Nov. 28.

Hosted by Janice Kitchen, Whose Line is it Anyhow will feature the comedic talents of Jerry Doyle, Cindy O'Neill, Michael Payne, Susan Fowlow and Esther Oosterbaan.

Mr. Payne says he's looking forward to an enjoyable evening onstage.

"I've worked with Jerry and Cindy in the past and we have a great working relationship. ... we always have a lot of fun when we're together and I'm quite honoured that they thought of me," he says.

Given his lack of improv experience, he notes there's a bit nervousness when thinking about the show.

"However, with a talented group to work with, I'm sure it'll be interesting and funny," he adds.

"I have a bit of a dry sense of humour, so hopefully that will be incorporated into it. Overall, it's going to be fun and a great laugh, so I hope people will enjoy it."

Wanda Cook, Arts and Culture Centre manager, says the idea for the show was homegrown.

"This is something new that the staff came up with," she says.

The show gets underway at 7 p.m. For more information, call 643-4553 or visit stephenville.artsandculturecentre.ca/cal/default.aspx.
