On Thursday afternoon, Western Health relased the following H1N1 vaccination schedule for Nov. 27 to 30. The H1N1 vaccination is open to all individuals who have not yet received their vaccine:

Stephenville, St. Stephen's Parish Hall

Friday, Nov. 27, 10 am - 8 pm

Saturday, Nov. 28, 10 am - 5 pm

Monday, Nov. 30, 9 am - 5 pm

Piccadilly, Piccadilly High School

Monday, Nov. 30, 10 am - 4 pm

Western Health says H1N1 mass immunization clinics will continue throughout the region and they ask for the public's continued patience as they attempt to get everyone vaccinated.

Western Health will be providing numbers or waitlist tickets just an hour before the clinic starts. In doing this, they hope to make the process of mass vaccination as fair and equitable as possible. Once they run out of vaccine for that particular clinic, we will be asking people to be patient and return again at our next scheduled clinic.

Western Health would also like to remind parents that children between the ages of six months and three years of age who require a second H1N1 vaccination will be called by their local community health office to arrange for an appointment. Children between the ages of three years and nine years who have a chronic condition (such as asthma) and require a second H1N1 vaccination are asked to contact their local community health office for an appointment.

As part of the H1N1 immunization registration process, persons are required to have their MCP Card with them at the time of registration. People are asked to wear short sleeves or easy roll up sleeves.

If people have questions or concerns, they can call 1-877-632-H1N1 (4161).
