Youth participate in spaghetti eating contest

It was a chance to dig in and win. Five youth particpated in a spaghetti eating contest on Feb. 26, as part of Stephenville Winter Carnival.

Finishing their plate first was Ashley Redlon. Dawson Connolly was a close second and Bobbi Nelson scored third place. Other competitors were Hayle Hobbs and Hannah Legge-Butler.

Stephenville Winter Carnival comes to a close this evening, Feb. 28, with a family skate at Stephenville Dome (5 to 6 p.m.), and a show at L.A. Bown Campus of College of the North Atlantic (6:30 to 8:30 p.m.).
